Hard-To-Recycle Collection Events
The Pennsylvania Resources Council will host two hard-to-recycle collection events in the coming months. Most items will be collected free of charge, but some may require a small fee.
Settlers Cabin Park - September 13
The Pennsylvania Resources Council will host a household chemical disposal event at the Settlers Cabin Park wave pool parking lot on Saturday, September 13 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The cost is $2 per gallon for all acceptable items. For more information about this event, see their flyer.
Mall at Robinson – October 4
The Pennsylvania Resources Council will host a hard-to-recycle event at the mall on Saturday, October, 4 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. While some materials will require a small fee, most will be collected free of charge. For more information about this event, see their flyer.
Township Service Employees'(Non-uniform) Services Contract
Baldwin Township has awarded a contract to Langan Financial Group for the provision of Investment and Related Administrative / Bookkeeping / Support Services in relation to the Baldwin Township Service Employees' (Non-uniform) Pension Plan, a Defined Contribution Plan. Columbia Gas Surveying in the Township
Beginning in mid-April and continuing for several months, Columbia Gas will be performing mapping activities in the Township. For further information, see this link.
It is unlawful under Baldwin Township Ordinance No. 461 (enacted 11-26-12) to feed or provide water to any stray or feral cat or dog, or any other stray animal, or to allow any other persons to engage in such activities on your property.
Covered Device Recycling Act
Under Pennsylvania's new Covered Device Recycling Act, Waste Haulers in the Commonwealth are now unable to pick up old televisions, computers, and peripheral devices for disposal. For information on nearby recycling facilities, see the Recycling Section of the Allegheny County Health Department.
