Easter Activities Cancelled

Due to the Easter Holiday being early this year, the rental of the Community Building, and the inclement weather, all Easter Activities have been cancelled for 2010.

Armstrong Park and the Walking Trail

Armstrong Park closes at dusk. However, the walking trail will remain open for use until the trail's lights are turned off at 11 p.m.

Reminder: The pavilion and gazebo in Armstrong Park are available for rental, as well as the top floor of the Municipal Building. Call the Municipal Building for details or to obtain a permit.

The following are not permitted in Armstrong Park:

• Dogs or other animals
• Alcoholic beverages of any kind
• Firearms, air rifles or BB guns

2009 Trash Collection Schedule

Regular trash pick-up is Friday commencing at 6:00 AM. Trash may be placed at the curb after 6:00PM on the day preceding pick-up. Following is a list of the holidays in 2009 that will affect trash pick-up:

• Labor Day, September 7, 2009

• Thanksgiving Day, November 26, 2009

• Christmas Day, December 25, 2009

• New Years Day, January 1, 2010

During these weeks, pick-up will be on Saturday instead of Friday.
